This privacy policy governs data processing activities exclusively for the Brevin mobile application, a dedicated outfit logging and wardrobe management platform. All unexplained terms shall be interpreted in accordance with local data protection laws applicable to end users.
1. Scope & Acceptance of Terms
Brevin is a lightweight wardrobe and outfit management application designed for users to upload, record, store and review personal clothing matching photos and customized text notes (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"). This Policy applies to all functional modules of the Brevin application, including outfit album storage, text note editing, local content management and other extended services affiliated to the platform.
By launching the application, browsing functions, uploading outfit photos or creating textual outfit records, you confirm that you are an eligible user, have fully read, comprehended and voluntarily agreed to every clause of this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of this Policy, you shall not access or utilize our Service in any form.
2. Age Restriction & User Eligibility
The Service provided by Brevin is oriented exclusively to adult individuals aged 18 years old and above. This platform does not permit use by minors in any region worldwide.
We prohibit any person under the age of 18 from registering for, accessing, or interacting with any function of this application. We reserve the absolute right to conduct user age verification periodically. Once we identify a minor user, we will immediately suspend the user’s service access privileges, erase all stored outfit pictures and text records associated with the account, and reject subsequent registration applications from the corresponding user.
Parents or legal guardians who detect unauthorized minor access to Brevin may submit a removal request via our official support email, and we will complete data clearance and access intercept within two working days.
3. Data Categories We Process
To sustain the normal operation of outfit recording and local storage functions, we only collect and process necessary user-generated content and basic anonymous operational data. We never collect sensitive biometric data, payment information or irrelevant private data without explicit user authorization. The processed data is divided into two types:
3.1 User-Generated Content (UGC)
All content actively created and uploaded by users during service usage, which constitutes the core data of our platform, including but not limited to: women’s daily outfit photos, clothing detail pictures, style matching notes, outfit labeling text, seasonal wardrobe planning content and other personalized descriptive texts. Such content is independently controlled by users.
3.2 Anonymous Operational Metadata
Anonymous non-identifiable data automatically generated during application running, covering service startup frequency, functional module access records, abnormal error logs, anonymous device brand/model tags and operating system type. This type of data cannot be used to identify any individual user, and contains no private identifiable information.
4. Purposes of Data Processing
All collected and processed data shall only be used for the following predefined purposes, and we will not alter the usage scope or apply the data to unrelated scenarios without obtaining additional user consent:
• Core Service Delivery: Realize permanent local storage, content preview, real-time query and personalized classification management of users’ outfit photos and matching text records;
• Application Performance Optimization: Analyze anonymous operational metadata to diagnose software crashes, fix functional defects, optimize album loading speed and upgrade overall user operation experience;
• User Communication Support: Use relevant feedback content submitted by users to reply to consultation requests, solve technical failures and handle service-related complaints;
• Risk Prevention & Control: Standardize user UGC content to curb illegal and inappropriate content uploading, and maintain a safe and compliant service environment for all adult users.
5. Data Retention & Local Storage Rules
5.1 Retention Method
The outfit photos, matching texts and all other user-generated content are storedlocally on the user’s mobile terminal by default. Brevin will not actively upload, synchronize or back up user UGC to any remote cloud server without the user’s voluntary authorization. Users have absolute ownership and control over all created content.
5.2 Retention Period
User-generated outfit content will be retained persistently on the user’s device until the user manually deletes the content or uninstalls the application. Anonymous operational metadata stored on our auxiliary cloud server will be reserved for a maximum of 60 days, and will be automatically and irreversibly deleted upon the expiration of the retention cycle.
5.3 Data Security Measures
We adopt end-to-end encryption technology for local data access isolation to prevent unauthorized reading of user outfit content by third-party software. Our internal data management system formulates hierarchical access permissions for anonymous metadata, and all data access behaviors are recorded and audited regularly.
6. Third-Party Services & Data Disclosure
Brevin does not cooperate with third-party data sales agencies, and we will never sell, lease, trade or distribute users’ outfit content and private data for commercial profit under any circumstances. We only disclose user data in the following limited and compliant scenarios:
• The user independently submits a written or electronic authorization instruction to authorize us to share specific content;
• We receive official legal notices, court subpoenas or mandatory regulatory requirements issued by competent government authorities;
• It is necessary to disclose relevant data to eliminate potential fraud risks, protect public safety or safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of our platform and adult users.
7. End User Statutory Rights
Within the scope of applicable data protection laws, eligible adult users enjoy the following complete data-related rights:
• Right of Access: Users can check all stored outfit photos and text notes in the application at any time;
• Right of Erasure: Users are entitled to delete single or all outfit records stored in the application with one click;
• Right of Restriction: Users can refuse the collection of anonymous operational data by turning off relevant permission switches on their devices;
• Right of Inquiry: Users may contact our support mailbox to inquire about our data processing rules, storage strategies and third-party sharing mechanisms.
8. User Conduct & Binding Responsibilities
As a qualified adult user of Brevin, you shall bear corresponding legal responsibilities for all behaviors under your account and device environment:
• You shall guarantee that all uploaded outfit photos and text content are legally owned or legally authorized for use, and shall not upload content involving pornography, violence, privacy infringement, illegal guidance, discrimination and other prohibited elements;
• You shall not use this application for illegal commercial promotion, spam dissemination and any behaviors that violate local laws and regulations;
• You shall independently bear all legal liabilities and compensation losses arising from inappropriate UGC content uploaded by you.
9. Policy Updates & Notification Protocols
Our team reserves the right to revise and optimize this Privacy Policy based on service function upgrades, industrial adjustment and updated legal regulatory requirements. When the Policy is revised, we will refresh the revised date at the top of the document and release update announcements through the application’s system notification bar.
Your continued use of the outfit storage and recording services after the update announcement is released will be deemed as your acceptance of the revised policy clauses. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you must terminate the use of this Service immediately.
